What is Health?
Health is Well-Being in a holistic way. Unfortunately, we are still living in a society in which this has not been fully accepted, yet. If someone is free from disease, but feels a constant lack of energy, is anxious or depressive – the general notion of others is “… but you are fine otherwise.” Are you fine? If you do not feel fine, you are not and it is not up to someone else to decide upon this for you.
On the contrary, someone who is not absolutely fine might feel happy. Imagine someone who suffers from a chronic disease for example, but has learned to manage the challenge on a day to day basis. This person might say: I am doing very well! Well-Being is an objective and subjective feeling; not only based on medical, but e.g. also on sociological, economic, psychological and cultural factors. It is about the individual as well as the dynamics of the individual within the group – every day.
What to Expect?
In health consultancy, we want to take a look at you in a holistic way. We do not only want to know your symptoms or what you have been eating for the last couple of weeks. We also want to know who you are and what your current place in the overall coordinate system is. How does your environment look like? Your workplace? Your social life? Furthermore, it is important to understand that we don’t only want to look out for risk factors, trying to figure out what has harmed your health in the past. Instead, we want to take a look at the things which are good for you and your beloved ones, digging deeper into the question of what makes you well? How can positive factors be enhanced? How can we prevent disease from happening? Only by looking at the big picture we can successfully enable you to make a lasting change.
How Does it Work?
The first check-in is a free initial conversation in which we get to know each other and learn about your goals. This conversation lasts about 30 minutes.
After this and having decided on which service will suit you best, we do a thorough anamnesis interview together. This session usually lasts about one hour.
The next steps will be depending on your personal needs. One size does not fit all and we want to make sure that you get the most out of your consultation. Some clients already have a good idea about their way and are looking for slight adjustments, others need to learn a lot of things from scratch. No matter who you are and at which point of your journey: We are here to make sure you will get the best support on your way to a healthier life.
